Ardit Susuri born March 11, 2000, known professionally as Ardus, is an American Singer and Entrepreneur.
Raised in Kosovo and currently living between Kosovo and New York , he rose to prominence in the United States and English speaking European countries during the year 2020 after going viral in one of the biggest music streaming platforms, Spotify.
Early Life
Ardit Susuri was born on March 12 2000 into a Albanian family in Kosovo. He currently pursues a Higher education on AAB University. Ardus was more focused on growing his businesses until he decided to switch his career focus to music.
He always liked music but wasn’t taking it seriously. He started releasing music on Spotify during 2016 and 2017 but it wasn’t up until 2020 when he released his first professional song with which he debuted into the music industry called “Common”.
After his first release, he continued to release new music on Apple Music and Spotify mainly but wasn’t making any breakthrough even though he released new songs.
Things changed when he dropped his first EP, “ARDUSTAR” where a couple of his songs went viral and he amassed more than 1 million streams on Spotify and hit the 35,000 followers mark on Instagram.
With his latest release and new audience, he was also featured in Worldrapstars Magazine, New York Drops and Kodnews.
Music Career
While he was still appearing on Spotify, Ardus began attempting to cross over into the world of hip hop. He released his first Song ,”Common“, in 2020, achieving modest streams (5000 streams). He followed that with the 2020 release of another song, Loser, which now counts (50,000 streams). Then in 2021, he publishes his song which is now considered a hit “Cold World” from which the singer gained a large audience. In 2021 he also signed a contract with the AEARTISTS Label.
